A team of inventive and kooky brits exploring what is possible from our existing resources by creating buildings and wildlife habitats as one.
In 2010 a prototype was launched and went in the Barnes Wetland Trust garden designed by Nigel Dunnett. In 2011 Nigel commissioned a second Green Roof Shelter with a special design by John Little and Lisa Lee Benjamin and ended up winning a silver guilt in the Chelsea Flower show. John being one of the early visionaries for well designed and aesthetic habitats specifically made for insects and birds, and Dusty a true conservationist and forerunner in progressive green roof policy, have been very influential in the creation and growth of awareness of biodiversity. They were responsible for much of the initial inspiration for Urban Hedgerow.
