Bug Habitat

A bug habitat commissioned by Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for their Discovery Garden.

The habitat sculpture is placed in a warm sunny spot facing south to pose possibilities for nesting, hiding, and general refuge for a variety of our small friends. Each section is filled with materials which provide a host of opportunities for wild nesting bees, lady beetles, lacewings, butterflies and spiders. All materials were harvested on-site at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
